Word of mouth lead me to a Waterford Hills OTD that allowed passengers – a rarity amongst track days as often organizers don’t want to pay the extra insurance, and the track owners themselves will refuse to.

Of course, luck would have it that none of my friends were able to make it out that day. On the other hand, it gave me an opprotunity to meet some people within this particular community, make some new friends, and start planning opportunities for the next season.

This was also a further successful test of
a) my June replacement of motor mounts and an exhaust header after spectacular failures in May, and
b) My streaming setup, which aside from the occasional complete audio drop, was incredibly successful, especially due to Waterford’s improved cell service.
